EEU and Vietnam signed a Free Trade Agreement

The trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union was the second FTA, Vietnam has signed this year, following the deal with South Korea. Vietnamese goods will enjoy duties as low as zero percent when entering the EEU market. The FTA is also expected to simplify many procedures.

The FTA between the countries of the EEU and Vietnam establishes mutual obligations to ease market access of goods.

The Agreement will open to entrepreneurs of EEU the opportunities to deliver to the Vietnamese market, and by developing cooperative production in Vietnam, to enter the markets of other countries of ASEAN and entire Asian region.
